Opis
Supporting the staff of the host organisation (CO Tola) in the different activities they do with people with mental disabilities (sports, workshops, excursions, routines...). This is an opportunity to support people in risk of exclusion, to learn Spanish, to learn about abilities and (dis)abilities and how to support. No need to have previous studies about psicology or therapy, but very necessary to be openminded and ready for a hard and rewarding activity.
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
Accommodation in individual room in a shared apartment (with other volunteers and staff members) in the same city where the activity takes place: SILLA. Silla is located 14km away from Valencia, connected by train with the city center of Valencia. Silla has a population of almost 20.000people. Food will be arranged by the volunteers. 150€/month for food.
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
On arrival and mid-term (organised by Spanish NA). In addition to those, language course with OLS.
Profil sudionika
People ready to work with people with intellectual disabilities and physical disabilities. Willing to learn and have an intercultural interesting experience in Spain.
