The volunteering team will take part in the organization and implementation of the "Mirsevjen Party" (Welcoming Party) in Tirana — an annual event organized by BBA in collaboration with the Municipality of Tirana and several partner institutions. The event aims to warmly welcome new students to the capital city, showcasing the diverse opportunities, cultural spaces, and social activities Tirana has to offer. Through interactive activities, performances, and information stands, students will be encouraged to engage with the local community and make the most of their new environment. Main Tasks: event preparation and setup – assisting with arranging the venue, setting up stands, decorations, and equipment, guest guidance – welcoming attendees, providing directions, information support – sharing details about activities, performances, and city opportunities with participants, logistics assistance – helping manage schedules, activity facilitation, closing and cleaning up.

Volunteers will be accommodated in flats rented by the organization, in double rooms, fully equipped. Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
The volunteering team will receive a comprehensive training program before and during the activity. This includes an introductory session on ESC values and project objectives, practical workshops on event management and intercultural communication, and guidance on teamwork and problem-solving skills. Ongoing mentoring and reflection sessions will ensure volunteers gain valuable competencies while contributing meaningfully to the event.
Profil sudionika
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic young people (18–30 years old) from ESC Programme or Partner Countries (Italy and Albania) to join our volunteering team in Tirana, Albania. Volunteers will support the organization of the Mresevjen Party, an annual event welcoming new students to the capital city. Ideal candidates: open-minded, sociable, and eager to engage with international participants, interested in event organization, youth activities, and cultural exchange, team players with adaptability and a positive attitude, good English skills (other languages are a plus). Volunteer tasks include: preparing and setting up the venue, decorations, and information stands, welcoming guests and guiding them through the event areas, sharing information about activities and opportunities in Tirana, supporting interactive sessions, games, and performances, assisting with logistics and schedule coordination, helping with crowd management and safety, closing and cleanup after the event. Benefits: hosting, food, pocket money, travel costs covered by ESC, insurance and mentorship, experience in event management and intercultural teamwork. Participants will have the chance to discover Tirana’s culture and make new international friends. Tirana is the Capital of Mediterranean Dialogue in 2025.
