Opis
Adichats works on several subjects as Inclusion, Sustainability and Heritage restoration. The one month mission we propose is to participate in low tech wood constructions, give a hand in the restoration of the Castle and create a micro-climate as an example in our area. How do we proceed to create a micro-climate? We grow a forest, a local jungle wich allows temperatures to stabilize and biodiversity to come back in places it was almost gone. We hope our volunteers will give us time and resources as much as knowledge to improve the future of our organization. If you like thinking, sharing time in collectivity as much as working with your barehanded then you’re very welcome!
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
You will be welcomed to the charming village of Villandraut in South Gironde! It has all the essential local shops and services. You'll be living in collective dormitories in a large house. Meals are prepared by you, collectively. A whole diversity of landscapes to discover here. But here's the twist – get ready for some countryside living! Public transport is as rare as a shooting star around here, but fear not! We've got bicycles to share. Villandraut is waiting to welcome you with open arms!
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
The workcamps are supervised by a profesional who’s role is to organise the daily life and leisure activities and to teach you the gestures. The aim of this volunteering is to share a collective experience rich in intercultural encounters. We will be organising intercultural evenings so that everyone can cook a dish from their own country, share a typical dance, play a game, create world citizen workshops... You'll be taking part in group leisure activities: visiting a vineyard with wine tasting, heritage sites, bee-keeping, canoe trips, etc. The activities are flexible.

As part of the European Solidarity Corps we accept volunteers that are between 18 and 30 years old. If you've got a deep passion for heritage and environmental issues, consider that a bonus point!
