Apraksts
12 months volunteering experience with Oasi Giovani organization. The project aims to promote solidarity values and Europeanism in the City of Savigliano. The two volunteers will have the chance to daily contribute to the solidarity activities in the fields of social assistance and education, aimed at the local community. The volunteering experience aims to promote the youth emancipation in solidarity services for youth. Volunteers will work at the after school service (pick up children from school, support for lunch-break, help out with homework, organise and supervise educational and recreational activities), at the baby-parent community (organise and supervise educational and recreational activities with children, support mums and their kids for travel in the city) and at Progetto Oceano Youth Centre (promote educational and recreational activities for youth).
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Volunteers will live in a small accommodation owned by Oasi Giovani, with private bedrooms and shared kitchen, bathroom and living area. The house is next to the Oasi Giovani headquarters, 5 minutes from the city centre and train station, and has Wi-Fi. Bicycles are available on request. A doctor is available if needed. On working days, volunteers can have lunch at the in-house canteen.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
Volonteers can participate in the weekly staff meetings during which organisational and educational issues are discussed. This is an opportunity for the volunteers to get to know the association better and to learn the daily work of staff members working in the social welfare and educational field. In case of staff trainings that Oasi Giovani will consider suitable for volunteers too, Oasi Giovani will offer volunteers the chance to participate. Volunteers will participate in all trainings sessions foreseen by the Italian National Agency for ESC.
Dalībnieka profils
Oasi Giovani is seeking two enthusiastic young volunteers, aimed at promoting intercultural exchange and EU opportunities for youth. Volunteers will primarily work with children and youngsters, participating in outdoor activities during the summer. Ideal candidates are empathetic, dynamic, curious, and responsible, ready to bring new ideas and set a good example. This is an opportunity for personal growth and to make a difference in the community. This project is for you if you like being time with kids and youngsters because you will spend most of your volunteering time with them.
