Volunteers will be mainly involved in activities carried out in a very disadvantaged area of the city of Naples, right in the historic centre, World Heritage Site. The activities will be focus on children and teenagers, elderly persons, disabled persons and immigrants (since in the area many immigrant families live). The main activities for ESC volunteer will consist in helping to organize children free time activities, artcrafts workshops and homework, accompanning and assisting children in their activities outside the NGO, cooperating together with other volunteers from our NGO and other NGOs in preparing networking activites, dayly support of the office activity, etc. The volunteer will be asked to contribute to write and distribute articles on local magazines about the ESC experience and other European Union topics. Finally, the volunteer will be also involved in the day operations of the Europe Direct Center of Naples Municipality.
Alloggio, vitto e trasporto
- Travel costs: reimbursed up to 309€ - Pocket money: 180€/month - Accommodation costs (in shared apartment with other 3 international volunteers): fully covered - Food money: 170€/month - Health insurance: fully covered - Monthly public transport: included

Italian language lessons: fully covered (6 hours/month)
