Generation for Change CY is a grassroots, non-profit organization striving for a diverse & inclusive society in the EU. We support & empower vulnerable & marginalized communities, including refugees & people of low socioeconomic status, & advocate for social justice in migration, human rights, & interculturalism. We are looking for seven motivated young individuals aged 18-30 who are ready to make a meaningful and impactful contribution within our education and integration programs. Volunteers will contribute to language teaching, employability, psychosocial and digital skills activities, sports, antiracism initiatives, or outreach, supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in Cyprus. Weekly working time: 30 hours per week (4 days per week). Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
A.1. Monthly stipend of 400 EUR for personal expenses and food. B.1. Accommodation and related expenses fully covered, including utilities. B.2. Note: Participants from Cyprus may opt to stay in their own accommodation and receive a monthly allowance of 100–150 EUR to cover car expenses and home utility bills. C.1. Travel expenses to and from Cyprus fully covered. D.1. Medical insurance coverage (if not already covered by the participant).
Mācības pasākuma laikā
Participants will receive tailored training and supervision according to their role, whether in language teaching, antiracism and gender equality work, psychosocial or employment activities, sports-based youth engagement, material support, or communications. All volunteers will also receive cross-cutting training on safeguarding, intercultural competence, inclusive practices, community engagement, and effective teamwork.
Dalībnieka profils
We are looking for seven motivated young individuals aged 18-30, residing in the EU (including Cyprus) and other countries participating in the European Solidarity Corps. Volunteers should be committed to making a meaningful and impactful contribution to education, inclusion, and community-focused migration work. You will be involved in Generation for Change CY’s programmes across education, empowerment, community support, and outreach, contributing to our mission, gaining lifelong skills, and experiencing Cyprus’ diversity. The work may focus on language education, digital skills, psychosocial and employment activities, antiracism and gender equality initiatives, sports-based engagement, material support, or communications. We welcome applications from individuals with a strong interest in one or more of the following areas: 1) Language Education (Greek or English) Supporting the planning and delivery of Greek or English classes and related educational projects for adult learners. 2) Employment, Psychosocial and Digital Skills Activities Assisting with digital skills sessions, integration activities, employability support, and community-building events. 3) Gender Equality & Antiracism Contributing to workshops, awareness activities, and content promoting equality, inclusion, and anti-discrimination. 4) Sports & Education Activities Supporting sports-based engagement, youth activities, tournaments, and teamwork-focused inclusion programmes. 5) Material Support Program Assisting with community donations, sorting, distribution, and support to vulnerable households. 6) Communications & Outreach Supporting social media content, storytelling, visibility materials, and outreach to diverse communities.
