After two editions of the Knowledge Garden project, in 2024 and 2025, the third and final phase aims to enhance the outdoor space of the Agorateca community library, transforming it into a place for meeting and socialising, cultural production, and shared knowledge. The goal of this team is to make the KG more aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus—namely, more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive. The activities will include the improvement of green areas, functional upgrades, and the care and enhancement of furnishings. Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

Food and accommodation will be provided by the host organization according to ESC standards. Volunteers will be accommodated in a large flat in double rooms in Altamura.

Formazione durante l'attività

Volunteers will work as a team, learn from each other, and share the values of empathy, cooperation, and creativity. Accommodation, food, and pocket money are provided through the ESC program. The activities will be led by experienced youth workers who will provide task related training sessions and organize intercultural activities.

Profilo del partecipante

Young architects, artisans, creatives, urban green experts, artists. An interest in community art, manual skills, imagination, and basic knowledge of the New European Bauhaus and its principles are required. Good knowledge of English, flexibility, and team spirit are also required. Knowledge of Italian is welcome. Priority will be given to applicants without prior experience in ESC program.
