Apraksts
For this project in Buccino, Salerno (Italy) we are looking for 10 participants aged 18–30. Volunteers will help regenerate shared green spaces and support community life through hands-on activities and teamwork. Tasks include maintaining the “Mimì and Peppino” Educational Garden, planting, creating pathways, terraces, and reproducing aromatic plants. In the community, volunteers will support the San Giuseppe Fires festival, maintain green spaces, and help create new community areas. Facilitators will guide participants to observe the environment, identify needs, and co-design short- and long-term actions. Cultural visits, nature excursions, and non-formal activities are included. Some places are reserved for people with fewer opportunities. Travel days: March 3rd and March 31st.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Volunteers will stay at "Casa Movesi", located in the historic center of Buccino. The house includes shared dormitory rooms, two living rooms (one with a fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a small outdoor garden. Meals are self-managed using pocket money; an initial supply of basic food items is provided. Buccino is walkable, connected by bus to the train station, Salerno, and Naples. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC guidelines. Travel budget can be slightly higher for Green travel (according to the ESC guide).
