Beschrijving

Forget the average desk job or boring internships. We are offering you a chance to become a "main character" in the heart of the Tatra Mountains. Based in Bukowina Tatrzańska, one of the highest and most scenic villages in Poland, you will spend 3 months working on projects that actually matter. Your mission is split into three high-impact areas. You’ll be a cultural ambassador, running intercultural workshops for local kids. You’ll support educational activities in schools and act as help for English-speaking guests at the Tatra Mountains Museum (it is a side quest, not the main area of work.) Finally, you’ll be hitting the trails with the National Park Services to keep our nature pristine. If you have a creative streak, you can also flex your skills as a help in writing and preparing for our info portal. This is your chance to gain real experience while living in a place where most people only go on vacation.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

We’ve got you covered so you can focus on the experience. You’ll stay in a comfortable double room with the second volunteer (same sex), right in the heart of the mountains. To keep you going, we provide €180 in monthly pocket money plus an additional 700 PLN for your food and expenses. The work-life balance is real: you’ll work up to 6 hours a day, leaving you plenty of time to explore the region or hit the local thermal baths. We also handle your travel costs to and from the project (Max amount for two ways according to the EU distance calculator).

Wat leer je?

You will join official on arrival training organized by the National Agency, where you’ll meet a whole crew of other international volunteers from across Poland!

Wie zoeken we?

We are looking for motivated individuals under 30 years old who are ready to trade the city lights for mountain heights. You should be someone who communicates easily in English and feels comfortable leading activities for children and teenagers. Whether you’re a nature lover, a culture enthusiast, or a future NGO leader, we want someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into EU values. If you’re independent, open-minded, and ready for a 3-month challenge in a mountain village Bukowina Tatrzańska (around 3 000 inhabitants), you’re exactly who we need. To be the perfect fit, you should be: A Communicator: You speak English at a communicative level, allowing you to lead workshops. A Survivior: You have a natural vibe for working with children and young people, and you're excited to mentor the next generation. An Outdoor Enthusiast: You are ready to embrace life in a mountain village. Whether it’s rain, snow, or sunshine, you are stoked to be outside and active. A Purpose-Driven Explorer: You have a genuine interest in EU values, culture, and ecology. You don't just want a trip; you want to contribute to the local community and the planet. Adaptable & Rugged: You are independent and ready to trade the city's convenience for the raw, authentic experience of the Tatra region! Don't stress though, all you need is a little willingness and you'll learn the rest on the spot! :)
