FIM CCI Formation is offering an 8 month volunteer program at our Cherbourg en Cotentin apprenticeship training center. We are the training department of the West Normandy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for over 40 years, we have been providing local training for young people aged between 15 and 26, in retail, hospitality and catering, accounting and business management. The volunteer will be attached to the socio-educational department. His/her main missions will be : - Take part in the execution of socio-educational projects and suggest activities on the topic covered. For example : "Pink October","Dry january", youth mental awareness, road safety, sustainable development. - Lead workshops for apprentices during lunch breaks - Encourage international mobility More details in the attached document. Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
Your accomodation will be right in the centre of the town, close to all amenities. You will be staying at Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs (FJT) and have a room with a private bathroom (towels, bedlinen, dishes and microwave oven provided). Breakfast is included, for the other meals, you can eat at the FJT restaurant (Access card provided upon arrival, 1€/meal). A bus pass will be given to you to allow you to move around the town and discover Le Cotentin. You will receive €10 a day for food and €8 pocket money.
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
If you express the need, you will be allowed to follow training courses related to your activities and personal projects. You will be given French lessons and, at the end of your assignment, you will have the opportunity to take the CLOE certification (assessment of your French language skills).
Profil sudionika
You will be joining the apprentice services team. You will need to be easy to talk to, to be a good listener, showing empathy and openness to appreciate needs and act accordingly. You will be in contact with our apprentices and help them to open up to the world. You will take part in meetings between local European volunteers.
