Opis
Welcoming a volunteer force us to re-examine and evolve our practices. We want to offer a young European the opportunity to come and enrich themselves with us and make young people in our region want to live this experience once they come of age. The volunteer is a complementary asset in the journey of adolescents in our region but also for the social center team. Through these cultural, artistic, sporting and/or environmental inclinations and interests... the volunteer will be an additional adult alongside whom young people will be able to exchange, share and learn. The youth sector is engaged in supporting young people's projects, in promoting their skills, in empowering young people to act to which the volunteer can contribute.
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
You will have a room in a shared house with other ESC volunteers, in the city of Le Mans with everything provided. You will be provided with a card for the bus to go there everyday (1hour ride). On school days, you'll have the posibility to eat at the school canteen. For the others meals you will receive money to buy your food. If you have a car of your own, we can imagine you coming with it and we'd contribute to gas to lighten a bit transportation.
Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti
You will have an onboarding training with the Maison de l'Europe and the group of volunteers and you will take part in the on arrival and mid term seminar.
Profil sudionika
It’s great if : Our young person from the CES must be voluntary, caring and comfortable in social relationships, he or she will want to mobilize and give us the benefit of his or her knowledge and skills, and to acquire new ones. Ideally our super volunteer will have some knowledge of French, allowing them to communicate, but will also be English or Spanish speaking. He or she will be versatile in terms of fields of activity, will have one or more interests in the fields of sport, science, art culture, the environment, etc. And he or she will have a driving license allowing him or her to drive the social center's minibuses.
