In the first period (two months) the volunteer will be theoretically and practically introduced to the work and the concept of the “Kurt Löwenstein” Education Centre. This introduction will be done by the responsible educational officer for international projects, which also functions as a mentor for the volunteer the whole time.In the second part (four months) of the project the volunteer will assist the mentor in preparing, running and evaluating an international seminar on the issue of intercultural learning. In the third part of the project (six months) the volunteer will add to their already described tasks to prepare an own seminary or project, depending on the interest of the volunteer.

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

Accomodation is foreseen in a shared appartment in Berlin or in the education centre. A ticket for public transport (Deutschlandticket) will be provided. Food can be provided in the education centre during working days, for free days an allowance will be paid.

Formazione durante l'attività

The Volunteer will be trained in the field of EDC/HRE during the service to design and facilitate learning processes in the framework of international seminars.

Profilo del partecipante

The volunteer should be able to speak english, as this is the working language of the international seminars. Open mindness is essential to work in an international multicultural environment
