The kita is located near the city of Karlsruhe and hosts 90 children aged 1 to 6 years. The daycare centre welcomes all children, regardless of their nationality or social background. The kita has a bilingual and inclusive approach. Your tasks are: supporting the educators in one group of children in their daily activities - role playing, sport, arts; supporting the kitchen; going with the children on excursions; realizing a personal project with the children if desired, such as handycrafts or games. Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset
You will be accommodated in a shared house with other ESC volunteers. You will have your own room and share the common areas, experiencing an international community life. The house is located right next to the city and has tram and train stations at walking distance. You will receive approx. 500 € pocket money and food allowance every month. Koulutus hankkeen aikana
You will follow a 50-hours German course in group with other ESC volunteers. You will take part to two seminars of 2 weeks: here you will meet other ESC volunteers in Germany, share your experiences, learn and talk about the main concepts of the European Solidarity Corps. You will learn about both local and international cultures by attending a cycle of intercultural meetings.
