A two-week European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering project will take place in Berchum, Hagen, hosted by East-West-East Germany e.V. The project will bring together young volunteers aged 18-30. During the project, volunteers will help organise and run activities for children in the local community. These activities may include games, creative workshops, sports and simple sustainability-related activities. The programme will be based on non-formal education methods and will focus on creativity, teamwork, participation and intercultural exchange. An important part of the project will be the planning and organisation of a small children’s and family festival together with local partners in Berchum. Résztvevői profil
- Age: 18-30; - You speak good English; - Interested in volunteering and working with children; - Experience in youth or children’s activities is welcome, but not required; - Participants should be open-minded, responsible and ready to work in a team, since the project includes activities with children and the preparation of a community festival.
