Descrizione

The European Voluntary Service offers volunteers a variety of assignments working with middle and high school students, focused on promoting cultural and European openness and the ecological transition.
The assignments include:
Raising awareness about Europe and volunteering.
Cultural exchanges about their countries and interests.
Intercultural activities.
Leading the middle and high school eco-delegate group (supporting and encouraging student-led initiatives related to the ecological transition within the school)
Researching and organizing awareness campaigns for students on the challenges of the ecological transition. (Exhibitions, guest speakers, etc.)
Contributing to language learning (participating in classes, leading school activities in a foreign language).
Creating educational content (videos, podcasts, role-playing games).
Participating in European projects (Erasmus+, eTwinning).
Organizing special events (theme days, festivals).

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

Accommodation: The volunteer will be housed in a shared apartment with other volunteers.
• Stipend: A monthly stipend will be provided.
• Transportation: Most local transportation costs will be covered.

Formazione durante l'attività

French classes: Volunteers will have the opportunity to take the French as a foreign language classes already offered at the school for international students, as well as the classes offered by FDMJC22.
• Training: Volunteers will participate in the national seminar for European volunteers and in the civic education training organized by FDMJC22.

Profilo del partecipante

The volunteer will be selected based on their motivation to join the project, their ability to proactively lead a group of students and take initiative in cultural, international, and environmental matters, and their willingness to participate in a collective effort to bring together a group of young people around a project that may have inspired them personally. Their ability to assist high school students with language and academic support will also be taken into account. A personal interest in the field of ecological transition is a plus, although the volunteer will receive training on these issues.
