De kracht van samen

Let's do something good and fun!

FUNDACJA ADRA POLSKA (ADVENTIST DEVELOPMENT AND RELIEF AGENCY POLSKA)

Wrocław, Polen

Beschrijving

Join ADRA Poland in Wroclaw through the European Solidarity Corps and become part of an international team working for social inclusion and community support. During this 10-month project, volunteers will contribute to two main activities: supporting the development of the ADRA Senior Club for older adults, including migrant seniors from Ukraine, and assisting teachers in a kindergarten for children aged 3–5. Volunteers will also create educational materials about their own culture and help promote the European Solidarity Corps through social media and community events. We encourage creativity and welcome volunteers’ own initiatives and ideas. Volunteers will live in shared accommodation provided by ADRA Poland, receive food and pocket money allowances, local transport support, and guidance from a dedicated mentor. This project offers a unique opportunity to gain experience, develop new skills and promote intercultural learning.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

Volunteers will live in accommodation provided by ADRA Poland in Wroclaw, located in the same building as the organization’s office. The flat includes 3 rooms, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities and is fully equipped. Local public transport costs are covered. Volunteers receive 6 EUR per day as pocket money and 900 PLN per month for food expenses. Accommodation, local transport, mentoring, and practical support are provided throughout the project, ensuring a comfortable and safe volunteering experience.

Wat leer je?

Each volunteer will participate in the on arrival and mid term training offered by the Polish National Agency in either Torun or Warsaw. Apart from that, during the first month of the project volunteers will go through training about: practical issues of living in Wroclaw, culture and history of Poland and Safeguarding training.

Wie zoeken we?

We are open to everyone! The most important requirements are that you come from a country eligible for the European Solidarity Corps programme (please check the list of eligible countries in the 2025 ESC Guide), are between 18 and 29 years old, and have a sufficient level of English to communicate and function comfortably in a new environment. We particularly value people who are proactive, adaptable, creative, and willing to take initiative. We are looking for volunteers who can identify opportunities, contribute their own ideas, and respond positively to new challenges. Most importantly, you should enjoy working with both older adults and children, as these will be the two main target groups involved in the project activities.
