Opis
PROJECT TOPICS - Youth innovation, digital transformation, and capacity-building in youth work. - Youth employment and decent work — specifically addressing the challenge of precarious employment among young people by raising their awareness of labour rights, building their competencies for entering the labour market, and training youth workers to support them. - Career guidance and youth employability - activities in career counselling, transversal (transferable) skills development, and support for young people to enter the workforce During your mission (30 h/week), you would: - inform local community about activities in Youth center Brežice, - organize group activities, international evenings, and educational activities, - create and help the staff to organise fun activities for young people, - inform and raise awareness of volunteering programs, international mobility and interculturality as well as promote ESC programs, - be involved in multimedia activities
Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz
You will be accommodated in our YC Hostel Brežice. Your travel costs will be reimbursed. The amount of reimbursed expenses depends on the distance you travel. We encourage green travel, where most of the journey should be done in a sustainable way (by train or bus or car sharing). You will receive the pocket money and money for food.

Profil sudionika
We are looking for motivated and ambitious young individuals (18-30 years old) who are passionate about youth engagement, social inclusion and sustainability. The ideal candidate for our youth center should have an interest in working with young people and organising activities that promote intercultural understanding, non-formal education, and environmental awareness. Key Qualities: - Strong communication skills to engage with local communities. - Creative and enthusiastic about organising activities for youth. - Interest in digital media (e.g., poster design, photography). - Motivated to promote volunteering and intercultural programs. - Willingness to develop personal projects and collaborate with others. Desirable but not required: - Experience in youth work, voluntary service, or event organization. - Familiarity with the themes of inclusion, diversity, environmental protection, and participation in democratic life.
