Bouillargues Handball Nîmes Méditerranée (BHNM) is a women's handball club located near Nîmes, in the south of France. The club brings together around 300 players across 17 teams and is supported by 12 employees and more than 50 active volunteers. Beyond competing in the French Women's Second Division, BHNM develops educational, inclusive and European projects promoting solidarity, cultural exchange and active citizenship. Joining our club means becoming part of a friendly, dynamic community where you can contribute to meaningful projects while discovering French culture and sharing your own with players, volunteers and local partners.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteer will take part in several projects throughout the year. They will help lead intercultural activities during school holiday camps, support the development of our wheelchair handball project and contribute to sustainability initiatives during match weekends. Depending on their interests and skills, they may also help organise club events, welcome international teams and develop their own ideas to enrich the life of the club. The volunteer will live with other volunteers in an apartment near downtown Nîmes. All amenities will be nearby (pharmacy, bakery, etc.).
Wat leer je?
We would like to welcome a European volunteer to share the everyday life of our club and bring an international dimension to our activities. Through projects focused on sport, inclusion and sustainability, we want to create simple and meaningful exchanges between the volunteer, our players, volunteers and local partners. It is a great opportunity to discover a new culture while sharing your own. He will be able to attend two free seminars organized by the French national agency.
Wie zoeken we?
We are looking for a motivated and curious person who is ready to get involved in the life of the club. Respect for people, schedules and the values of community life is essential. Experience in a community organisation or knowledge of handball is an advantage, but not a requirement. Above all, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills and take part in meaningful projects. Don't hesitate to share your ideas, both for your own personal project and for the club's projects!
