ADRA Serbia is a humanitarian organisation dedicated to reducing poverty and supporting vulnerable people. Through partnerships with communities and organisations, we improve the lives of Roma communities, people experiencing homelessness, young people leaving care, and other vulnerable groups. Our work focuses on disaster response, education, economic empowerment, protection, and psychosocial support. As a volunteer, you will support project management by collecting data for needs assessments, monitoring and evaluation, drafting reports, and assisting with coordination. You will also join field visits, communicate with beneficiaries and local communities, and contribute directly to project activities. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while making a meaningful impact. Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

We will provide you with appropriate accommodation. You will share the accommodation with other volunteer. You will have your own lockable room. The accommodation will be near our Community Center, near your workspace. The Community Center is 13 km (about 8.08 mi) away from the city center. The public lines to the city center are very frequent, (every 5-15 minutes depending on the public transport line). You will be provided with a monthly allowance of 450 EUR to cover the expenses for food and transport.

Wat leer je?

ADRA Serbia provides on-arrival orientation plus ongoing capacity building tailored to the volunteer's interests. Core in-house topics: safeguarding and PSEA, and direct work with vulnerable groups, and capacity building trainings relevant to the humanitarian sector.  The volunteer is guided through external e-learning relevant to humanitarian work, notably Cash and Voucher Assistance (CALP) and Psychological First Aid, and connected to the CVA Community of Practice. Self-assessment is encouraged throughout so the training plan is adjusted to maximise impact.

Wie zoeken we?

We're looking for a dedicated volunteer with a passion for helping others to support our Programs department. You'll contribute to MEAL deliverables, monitoring and evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and program fact sheets, while assisting the team with day-to-day project tasks. It's a great way to gain hands-on experience in project monitoring and learning. The ideal candidate is culturally sensitive, eager to learn, and enjoys teamwork. An interest in project cycle management is a plus. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds and abilities to apply, so don't hesitate to sign up. -- Position is also open for those with previous ESC Regular Individual long-term volunteering experience, but not with Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. ---
