Kuvaus
The Animal Behaviour Clinic of Ankara University Veterinary Hospital provides specialized behavioral assessment and therapy for cats and dogs. This ESC project offers volunteers practical experience in veterinary behavioral medicine under the One Health approach. Volunteers will learn how human communication and unmet needs cause behavior problems. The clinic features a dedicated therapy room and a separate observation room with a one-way mirror and audio system for aggression cases. Volunteers will support sessions by maintaining a clean, scent-free, and neutral environment, ventilating the clinic, and organizing materials. Interacting with faculty members, research assistants, and PhD veterinarians, participants will gain insight into evidence-based medicine, improve intercultural skills, and boost community awareness.
