As an ESC volunteer, you will contribute to Erasmus+ and European projects, create communication content, support educational activities and collaborate with international partners. You will develop professional, digital and intercultural skills through practical experience, mentoring and teamwork. Your ideas and initiative will be encouraged and valued.
ABOUT ESFMB
ESFMB is a non-profit educational centre of Intersindical Valenciana. Since 2005, we have developed educational programmes and European projects promoting inclusion, equality, lifelong learning and active citizenship.
We collaborate with schools, NGOs, youth organisations and international partners to create opportunities for learning, participation and social impact.

WHAT WE OFFER
This project is fully funded by the European Solidarity Corps.
Travel: Round-trip travel to Valencia is reimbursed according to official ESC distance bands, upon presentation of receipts.
Accommodation: Volunteers arrange their own housing and receive a monthly accommodation allowance. Local housing resources and guidance will be provided.
Financial support: Monthly food allowance and pocket money are provided according to ESC rules.
Insurance & Language: Full ESC health insurance coverage (Henner) and free access to the Online Language Support (OLS) platform for Spanish.
Wat leer je?
LEARNING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Through practical work and EU projects, you will develop digital communication, project management, presentation and intercultural skills. Your learning outcomes and competencies will be validated through the official European Youthpass Certificate.
MENTORING & TRAINING SUPPORT
You will receive full onboarding, continuous guidance from our team and regular meetings with a dedicated mentor. You will also participate in the official On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by the Spanish National Agency for the European Solidarity Corps.
Wie zoeken we?
YOUR ROLE & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As an ESC volunteer, you will fully integrate into our European Projects and Communication team, developing practical competencies across four core areas:
- European Projects Management & Support: Assist in the day-to-day implementation of Erasmus+ and European projects. Participate in international partnership meetings, support the creation of educational toolkits, assist in administrative tasks, and contribute to project dissemination activities.
- Communication, Media & Content Creation: Design engaging visual and multimedia content using Canva and Adobe tools. Manage social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook), draft promotional posts and newsletters, produce short video/photo content, and help run digital campaigns for local and European initiatives.
- Project Coordination & Administration: Organize digital files and collaborative workspaces via Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms). Assist with event logistics, documentation, meeting minutes, partner communications, and general administrative coordination.

Youth Participation & Community Engagement: Actively participate in non-formal education activities, local community workshops, youth mobility information sessions, and events aimed at promoting active European projects.
WHO CAN APPLY & REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, and proactive young individuals who are eager to experience an immersive volunteering period in Valencia.
- Age & Status: Young people aged between 18 and 30 years, legally residing in an EU Member State or in a country associated with the European Solidarity Corps, registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal, and available for the full 6-month duration (Jan–Jul 2027).
- Language Requirements: Working proficiency in both Spanish and English (minimum B2 level) to communicate effectively with the team and local stakeholders.
- Relevant Background: Candidates should have either an educational background or practical experience in administration, office management, secretarial work or project coordination, or in digital marketing, communication, content creation or related fields. Having a relevant background in at least one of these two areas is required.
- Administrative Skills: Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with routine office procedures (documentation, filing, and task tracking).
- Digital & Creative Skills: Candidates should be familiar with Google Workspace tools, social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn), and design platforms (Canva and Adobe Suite). Strong photo/video editing skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for digital communication are strongly preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Motivated, organized, open-minded, flexible, responsible, and keen to work in a multicultural, collaborative team. A positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn are essential!
