CALL FOR THE FINAL VOLUNTEER!
IMPORTANT:
Only candidates who are available for the entire project, starting ASAP. There are no options for shorter projects.
We are building a more inclusive European society by supporting vulnerable people in a spirit of solidarity and responding to current social challenges related to childhood and youth, such as ensuring equal access to education and employment.
Our objectives are:
- Promoting the growth and development of children and young people through both formal and non-formal education.
- To educate children and young people in mutual tolerance, respect for cultural diversity, intercultural understanding, gender equality, and the prevention of abuse and other forms of maltreatment.
- To provide children and young people with resources to help them develop the skills they need for the current job market (employability and entrepreneurship).
- To establish and maintain mutual cooperation with teachers, volunteers and social workers linked to our NGO on educational matters.

Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Accommodation and food are provided by the organisation. Volunteers stay in the same educational centre where they work.
IMPORTANT
There is a fixed schedule of the vacaction days for the volunteers throughout the year (August, Christmas).
Mācības pasākuma laikā
There will be training sessions on specific topics related to working with young people during the volunteer stay.
Dalībnieka profils
Candidates should be young Europeans or members of countries associated with training or previous volunteering experience in the socio-educational field. They should be aged between 18 and 30 years and highly motivated to work with vulnerable groups (e.g. minors in care, young immigrants, refugees and young people at risk of exclusion). Additionally, volunteers must demonstrate tolerance regarding diversity, integration and equality. They must also be highly socially sensitive, patient, and respectful of solidarity and humanitarian values. It would be very useful if the candidate knew some Spanish.
