"House for All" (Maison Pour Tous) is a dynamic community hub serving the residents of Saint Jean de la Ruelle. It supports those in priority neighborhoods, while fostering inclusivity and social diversity. The organization welcome individuals and families, and organize activities to foster social cohesion. Its mission is to create a vibrant and engaging space where young people and families can come together and thrive. MISSION Support and engage young people aged 11 to 15 through the teenager club (after school 4:30pm-6:30pm) and during school holidays, and kids 9-10 yo with in-school activities. Organise and animate workshops and events (culture, environment, music, dance, podcast, radio, theatre...). They love culture ! Promote participation and collective life skills among young people. Involve young people in the selection and preparation of activities, while encouraging autonomy and responsibility. Contribute to positive relationships and communication with young.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
LOCATION You’ll be living in the city center of Orléans (approx 25-30 min from your working place taking the bus or tramway). Shared flat of 8 people max (shared kitchen and living room) with individual room and bathroom. SCHEDULE From Monday to Friday 30 hours a week. Sometimes in the evenings and weekends (several saturdays between April and June). Orléans is 1 hour train ride away from Paris. FOOD AND POCKET MONEY You will receive 480€ per month (240€ for pocket money, 240€ for food) TRAVEL REFUND You will be refunded 100% of your travel costs up to a certain limit
Wat leer je?
You will participate in training courses organized by the Erasmus+ Youth Agency. Generally one at the beggining and one in the middle of the volunteering.
French language workshop are proposed twice a week in the "House for alls", you will participate to improve your french level.
Your tutor will be Manon, she is an animator. You will be part of a team of 7 people.
You will have the oportunity to discover other activities than the one for youth : adults and families activities
Wie zoeken we?
It is important that you are keen to work with young people and kids and to suggest ideas for activities and projects. You should be able to take initiatives, give your opinion and communicate with the team (being able to say what you think, it is important to improve the activities and fell good in your volunteering !). You will create workshops for children and teenagers with the team and/or partners so you should be able to share yours ideas and respect each other.
The most important thing is that you are keen to explore, create, share and be an entire part the team !
We would like a volunteer who accept to appear on photos and videos.
