The volunteering project will take place in Saint Brieuc, Côtes d’Armor, Brittany. The volunteer will be hosted by the Côtes d'Armor County Council (local authority of the region of Côtes d’Armor). Their missions, Raising awareness in favour of European citizenship, will be related to the activities of Europ’Armor, Europe Direct Center. - Develop intercultural interventions (games, presentations, non-formal learning, discussions) through the cultural identity of the volunteer towards the Europ’Armor public, in particular for young people. - Guiding young people towards mobility : providing information on the European Solidarity Corps, guiding young people in the use of the ESC platform. - Participate in events and forums such as Europe day (May the 9th) and Erasmus days. - Suggest a personal project chosen by the volunteer. - Participate to a European dynamic between young people of Côte d’Armor including the other international volunteers of the area.
Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer
The volunteer will live with other volunteers in a shared accommodation. They will have their own bedroom, but kitchen, living room and bathroom will be shared. Internet connection in the accommodation will be provided. Local transportation costs are covered (the volunteer will receive a bus card). A bicycle will be offered to the volunteer for the duration of the stay. The food will be covered by the indemnity allocated to the volunteer

Wie zoeken we?
Our only criteria is motivation, based on two aspects: the desire to live an intercultural experience and the will to work with young people (children, teenagers, young adults). We do not require any previous experience in this field or any language competence but the volunteer should be at ease in expressing him/herself and willing to meet other people. As the mission is to meet young French people, we would like the candidate to have a minimum knowledge in French language.
