GREEN GO!

A tevékenység ismertetése

Within the “Green Go” project 4 short-term volunteering teams will be hosted in Bulgaria from 8 countries for a period of 45 days. During which they will work to construct eco-houses, do eco-farming and eco-agriculture. Through that activities the project will address the environmental and climate challenges. The practical experience will be also strengthened by raising awareness on ecological issues and making them more sensitive and concerned about what is happening on Earth due to social and economic irresponsibility of enterprises, politicians and citizens. The volunteering teams will consist of 12 participants and the project will be implemented in rural areas- in three villages of Razlog Municipality (Banya, Dobarsko, Bachevo).

Szállás, étkezés és utazás

The volunteers will be accommodated with Bulgarian families on the territory of Razlog municipality so that they can get to know life in Bulgaria in detail. But the volunteers will have their own personal space and will be accommodated in separate rooms with two or three beds each. Volunteers will receive food allowances and pocket money according to the rate for Bulgaria. Transportation costs are determined based on the distance calculator of European Commission.

Képzés a tevékenység során

Volunteers will have a pre-departure training organized by their sending organisations during which they will receive detailed information about what is voluntary service, what are their rights and responsibilities and anything that is related to the practicalities of the service. Once on site, the IIC team will deliver a two-day training course on introduction to Bulgarian culture and its peculiarities for all the volunteers. That will help them integrate better and faster in the new cultural and social environment.

Résztvevői profil

The volunteers should be young people between 18 and 30 years old, to be concerned and interested in the topics tackled by the project, to be able to share the gained knowledge within their local community and to be ready to leave in multicultural environment. But mostly the volunteers must love eco-gardening and eco-farming or to want to learn how to do it, to be ready to leave in a small village for the period of their activities (45 days) and to be open to communicate with the local people.
