Animation and Educative support in a Centre social

Deskrizzjoni tal-attività

The Centre social Arc en Ciel in Saint-Fons is an association that contributes to the improvement of the locals' life quality, favours intercultural and linguistic awareness, and organises educational and pedagogical activities. The activities of the volunteer:  Intercultural awareness: ◦ Be an ambassador of his/her country ◦ Organises intercultural workshops to make children and teens discover his/her country and other European countries.  Pedagogical and educational activities: ◦ Linguistic support in English for the children/teens of Saint-Fons / sociocultural education classes in English ◦ Providing educative support to children, helping them with their homework ◦ Propose and organize workshops and activities to the children/tens on various topics : environment and sustainable development, cultural activities, facilitation figital access.

Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

The accommodation of the volunteer will be in a flatsharing residence in Lyon, in “Perrache” district, 40 mn away by bus from the Centre. Nearby the residence there are various public transports and all kind of conveniences. The volunteer will share this flat with 1 or 2 other youngsters. The residence is brand new. In the flat, there is a shared living room and a shared kitchen all equipped as well as a bathroom. Wi-Fi will also be available. Every person will have a private room all equipped as well. Concordia will provide to the volunteer food money (7,50€/day)+pocket money (180€ /month)
