Practicing and promoting sustainable lifestyles in Eco-village

Gaia Terra Project is an experiential educational center focused on themes of eco-sustainable construction, environmental regeneration, and relational maturity. The main objective is to practice and promote sustainable lifestyles on various levels: environmental, relational, work/educational, contributing to the transformation of society. To achieve this goal, it has launched an ecological village project for the experimentation of practices and theories in the field of community building. Volunteer will participate in all recurring activities: orchard and garden management; permaculture; healthy living and natural food processing (kitchen management, self-production); recycling and creative use of waste; production of biodegradable products such as soaps, shampoos, toothpaste;event organization, reception, and logistics;promotion (photos, social media);creation and management of youth exchanges. https://www.informa-giovani.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/ESC-Long-Term-GAIA-TERRA.pdf

Logi, mad og transport

Accommodation: Volunteer will be hosted in a shared accomodation with other volunteers. Flat is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Food: all meals are provided by the community and they are vegan, meals are usually eaten all together. Travel costs (outward and return): reimbursed up to the budget limit according to ESC Programme Guide. Oplæring under aktiviteten

Participation in the On-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organised by National Agency in Italy.

Deltagerens profil

- 18-30 years old - MOTIVATION and INTEREST in the topics of association and project: Eco-sustainability, environment, healthy life, personal development, interculturalism, art, community life (as PGT is also generating an ecological village). - DISPOSITION TO DIALOGUE among the participants, with organizations and with the host community, willingness to participate in group dynamics for team cohesion and personal growth. - We would appreciate to receive young people with initiative and who wants to increase and exploit their creativity. - FLEXIBILITY, ADAPTABILITY - TEAM WORK skills.
