The volunteer will participate in the AVRIL organisation’s activities : environmental education and sustainable development. They will discover the nature in Normandy. The missions are to : sensitize about the Environment, Climate change and eco-citizenship, raise awareness about international mobility and interculturality, promote the ECS. Your specific mission will be focused on taking care of the local natural garden (ex : plant and experimente with the garden, create tools to senzitise about it, create events...) Logi, mad og transport

The volunteer will receive the money for the food and cook in the kitchen of the flat, 10 euros per day for food and 7 euros per day as pocket money. You will have your own room, in a lodge on a farm, close to the City called le Domaine de la Guérie in Coutances. The bus stop that can lead you to the organisation is 5mn walking from the farm. You will be lended an electrical bike The housing has all the regular facilities (burners, fridge, microwave, washing machine near by) Only limited wifi at the lodge, but unlimited at the organisation. Phone coverage is very low at the lodge.

Oplæring under aktiviteten

Training will be done during the volunteering. The first week will be focused on getting to know the organisation, the team, the work, the surroundings in order for the volunteer to find their place. Surrounded by a team of professionals, we are always here to help and to share with the volunteer. French online course will be done each week. And french lessons during shcool time You will go to an arrival and mid term seminar with other volunteers
