ESC Opportunity - Project Manager

Gap Year Portugal is the youth organization in Portugal that is responsible for promoting the concept of gap year in Portugal and for supporting all young people who want to do it. We believe in the power of getting out of the comfort zone and learning with the world. In this sense, we are looking for 1 national volunteer to be part of the team! As a Project Manager you will be the right hand of the CEO in different activities, such as: (1) Support in the construction of the association's strategies and development of the projects; (2) Coordination of Gap Year Portugal's volunteers, specially from the Road Trip Gap Year and Grants Teams; (3) Coordination and planning of Training Courses and Youth Exchanges; (4) Maintenance and improvement of partnerships and negotiation and execution of new strategic partnerships. (5) Help in all the associated logistics within each project.

Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

Gap Year Portugal will provide a private room in a shared house, with all expenses included (electricity, water and WIFI) and a monthly pass for local transportation. In addition, the volunteer will also receive pocket money each month to cover food and small expenses.

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

During the time of the volunteering, the volunteer will have the opportunity to receive general and specific training in relevant areas. Besides from that, the volunteer will also have the opportunity to participate in all of the off-site weekends of the NGO.

Profil sudionika

Who we are looking for? (1) Up to 30 years old; (2) Have a passion for the world of gap years, travel, volunteering and "out of the box" experiences; (3) "Thirst" to create some social impact; (4) A project manager with: Critical thinking; Attention to detail; Versatility; Autonomy; Proactivity and initiative; Commitment; Resilience; Leadership skills; and Problem solving skills.
