Opis aktivnosti

Supported by ICE-RF, the "Lieu d'Europe" of Strasbourg wants to host a volunteer in its structure. This experience will give the opportunity to the volunteer to get engaged in a project, to contribute to his/her French level, give him/her autonomy and independence, a maturity in her/his personal and professional life. The "Lieu d'Europe" is part of the city of Strasbourg European and international relations department. As European Capital, the City of Strasbourg aims at promoting the European ideals such as intercultural dialogue, the defense of Human Rights and education to the European citizenships.

Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

The young volunteer will have his/her own bedroom in a Strasbourg student hall of residence. . The city of Strasbourg will make arrangements for meals and to make the moving of the voluneer easier through the city. French language courses will be provided through the online linguistic support.

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

The volunteer will take part at trainings organised by the National Agency. Before the beginning of his voluntary, he has to take part on a 2 weeks preparation (14 to 31/08/18), which included french courses, administrative tasks and many other interesting activities. This seminar is good to meet other volunteers. It's organised by the coordinating organisation ICE-RF. 2 months and 8 months after the beginning the volunteer is invited to take part on another seminars organised by ICE-RF.

Profil sudionika

!ONLY FOR GERMAN! Applications from Dresden or Stuttgart are appreciated. The Young volunteer should be open-minded, interested and have basic knowledge in the field of European issues. He will be able to ensure good relationships with the Lieu d'Europe public, in particular with the Young public as well as with the international visitors, most of them coming from German region. Young volunteers having already participated in cross-cultural exchanges or manifestations on the promotion of cultural diversity are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be interested in the European questions.
