Active Integration: Inclusion through sport

DYPALL NETWORK is calling for the first edition of Active Integration, a project that is been developing with local partners, following the main goal of bringing a new dynamic in youth work in Portimão, bringing a European perspective at local level, using sports as a tool for social inclusion, particularly of people that are not completely able-bodied. The volunteers will be allocated according to their interest and skills to one of the following 3 key areas of development: 1) International project management support & support in the communication, design and image 2) Support to the different areas of activity that the Clube Naval de Portimão develops Support in the organization of events, group management, as well as the organization of integrated sport lessons 3) Project support on healthy lifestyles among young people (Portimão Surf Clube) Support sport activities developed for young people and for the citizens in general in the municipality.

Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

Accommodation, volunteers will have their own individual room in rented appartments, and also a living room, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. The houses are located in the city centre and complies with all standards of safety and hygiene. Regards to transportation, we will offer a monthly bus pass to move freely within the city, when is needed according to the distance of work place. We will open bank accounts to the volunteers to ensure the safety of the transactions, and at the beginning of each month we will be transferring their pocket money and their food allowance.

Taħriġ matul l-attività

DYPALL NETWORK, as coordinating organisation, ensures that the volunteers attend the EVS Training Cycle provided by the Portuguese National Agency. Furthermore, DYPALL NETWORK provides a learning cycle involving: - Induction Training - 2 Mid-term evaluation meetings - Final evaluation meeting
