Opis aktivnosti

The UISP (Italian Union Sport For All) is an association of social and sports promotion that aims to extend the right to sport for all citizens. Sport for all is a social good that affects health, quality of life, integration, education and relationships between people, in all ages of life. As such, it is worthy of recognition and public protection. This is why the Uisp, both nationally and locally (where it is strongly rooted and widespread) collaborates with institutions, municipalities, regions, public and private bodies to improve people’s well-being. Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

The hosting city Matera has been European Capital of Culture 2019. Volunteers will leave in Matera city centre, in a shared flat (double rooms) not far from the working place. The apartment is self- managed and the volunteer needs to share kitchen and bathroom with other ESC volunteers. There is no need for local transportation, bike available. Money for food will be provided by the host organization. As the rule of ESC program the volunteer receives 5€ per day for pocket money. Money is given in cash or, if the volunteer wishes, is sent via banks transfer. It is possible to do 6 or 9 months.

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

Long-term volunteers will be followed during all the activities by a tutor who will favor them job placement and integration within the working group, thus favoring one full and active participation in all the activities of the NGO. The tutor will organize meetings programming periodicals in which the other members of the NGO will participate, and will be made available to contribute to the resolution of any voluntary need. In order to facilitate the integration of the volunteer not only in the organization, but also in the community local, a mentor will be identified.

Profil sudionika

Interest in sport, strong interest in management and administration of NGOs engaged in cultural and sportive sector; skills in social inclusion, capacity in working independently and in teams with basic level of Italian and a big will to learn it well. Simple lifestyle with the will to help others in also having a healthy life. Involvement on daily level to the management of the regional delegation.
