Unleash your magic European Solidarity Corps moment in your song!
Take part in the European Solidarity Corps Song Contest and have a chance to win a European Solidarity Corps promotion kit. In the fourteenth round we are looking for:

Your European Solidarity Corps song!
How can you share your song?
1. You have to be registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal on the European Youth Portal
2. You have downloaded the European Solidarity Corps App from Google Play or Apple App store on your mobile and logged in with your credentials
3. Please verify that your app is the version 1.6.1
4. While the contest is running you can record your song/video directly in the app or upload it from your mobile phone’s video gallery. Please record your song/video holding your phone horizontally.
N.B.: The current implementation for iPhones only allows to upload from the phone’s video gallery and no direct recording in the app.
5. You will be the only person to access to your song in “My Journal” in the app. It is invisible for the general public
6. You can play your song in the app. Should you not be satisfied, you can swap your song in the app at any moment until the deadline of the contest.
7. Give a title and a brief explanation on the song, stating why it represents your magic moment with the European Solidarity Corps (title: minimum 2 maximum 100 characters and description: minimum 100 maximum 500 characters).
8. Should people appear in your song/video, make sure that you have the consent of all the people in the images (see the authorisation forms under terms & conditions).
Please note that we are looking for songs, which represent the ideals, values and the true spirit of the European Solidarity Corps.
You have the right to withdraw your song at any moment of the contest. You can withdraw your song directly in the app, while the contest is still running. Just delete your entry. After the deadline you can send an email to eu-solidarity-corps@ec.europa.eu and request the deletion in our database.
All submitted songs will be deleted from our database at the end of the contest except for the top 10 finalists.
The finalists will be requested their permission to publish before they will compete in the public voting in the app, foreseen for May 2021.
The public voting will be open for 2 weeks and will be accessible through the app, version 1.6.2 Stay tuned for further updates!
The contest is open to young people between 18 and 31 registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal who have already experienced a volunteering activity.
Up to ten finalists will receive a European Solidarity Corps promotion kit and a voucher of a value of 100 €. In addition, one of the songs will be selected as the winner. The person who submits the winning song will receive an Interrail ticket to travel to up to seven EU destinations for the maximum of one month or a voucher of the same value.
