Järjestön kuvaus

The Evangelical Jugendscheune Melauneb is a part of the CVJM. Our target group are children and young people, young adults up 27. We organise regular groups and circles in various locations and we also organize events for children and young people at a regional level. This includes free time at home and abroad as well as seminars, employee education and youth services. Since 2008 we have had a partnership with a municipality in Romania. This partnership results in the exchange of young people in both directions.
This international cooperation has a positive influence in almost all of our work areas. Our association is a voluntary work. This means that with just a few full-time employees, we encourage, support and educate young people to volunteer in a wide variety of areas. The point is that they, as employees, are empowered to take on responsibility in line with their age and the requirements. In old offers we invite the participants to an independent, living faith in the Triune God.In our offer, we see a great opportunity and task of the heart and will. An important goal is networking with other organizations from Christian and non-Christian contexts. The work of our service is no longer unknown to many people and organizations in our region.
