Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

Since 2000, Kastamonu Association has had experience with many projects which support youngsters. As a national partner, we have also supported young boys and girls who would like to implement their youth projects which are supported by EU Youth Programs.
As an association we would like to give opportunities to youngsters who lack social, geographical or educational opportunities, and to make them aware of their social stature. In additional, we would like to establish more networks because we believe it is very important to have common interests with different organizations which are working towards the same aims. We have a lot of reason to participate EVS as an association. We are working about training culture and youth. We think that cultural exchange is important for development of young people. As we are a national organisation based in İstanbul, it is a great possibility for youngsters from different countries to enjoy the local life, take part in local youth projects and improve themselves in social and cultural skills.
We have not participated in EVS before, but we would like to participate in European Voluntary Service because we strongly believe in the idea of exchanging experience and intercultural dialogue. The European Voluntary Service is an opportunity to share ideas, thoughts and issues. We hope that we can learn something about cultures from new from volunteers. For volunteers, it will be a great possibility to enjoy local life with international dimension. We want to gain new experiences with international volunteerism and to be a bridge between Turkey and Europe for youth.
