Dům dětí a mládeže Kamarád” (DDM) is a public organization. This type of organizations spread in around the Czech’ s
territory, building a net. The organisation deals with no formal education for children and young people, during their free
time, offering them a different range of opportunities and workshops. The main goal of the organisation consists in helping
children and kids to socialize and to develop their talents and abilities.
In addition to the main activities, the DDM use to organise courses for the Third-age University and different social
events, giving, in this way, a contribute to increase the level of the interactions between the community.
The Česká Třebová DDM’s staff is composed by eight people, who work in their propter tasks and in team, in the main
building and in Rebus, a place completely dedicated to increase the quality of kids free time. The organisation use to
collaborate, also, with local institutions and with other organisation and association in order to achieve the community’s
goals and in order to improve the level of the services which the organisation can provide for people.
