kleinVerhaal vzw - freely translated as 'little Story' - is a participatory art practice with an inspiring meeting and creation space in the port city of Ostend. A colourful mix of people from all walks of life, including the most vulnerable, let their imagination run wild in open rehearsals, film workshops and studio sessions led by committed film artists and musicians. Through film and music and from the heart of society, kleinVerhaal captures and shares authentic stories and sounds that cannot be heard and seen on traditional stages. With its unruly creations, kleinVerhaal questions social and artistic conventions.
