Opis organizácie

Association Baltic Turkish Culture Academy was established in 2008 to develope cultural relations between European and Turkish countries. Before the establishment of this academy we worked as Turkish Language and Culture Centre and we have a lot of experience in teaching Turkish at universities and schools.

Our aims and main activities are:

Introducing of Turkish culture, traditions and customs in Lithuania and other foreign countries as well as presentation of Lithuanian and European culture to Turkey and other countries. This way in the international atmosphere everyone has an opportunity to present and share traditions, culture and language of his(her) own country and to learn more about other nationalities and their traditions;

Organizing different cultural seminars, courses, trainings, presentations;

In order to check the level of knowledge and the knowledge acquired in the language courses, organizing contests, Olympiads, attestations and other evaluations (examinations);

Organizing cognitive travels, excursions, exchange programs of lecturers, teachers, students and pupils;

Information spreading and exchange among the educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities), lecturers, teachers, graduates and students;

Intellectual assistance and events for lecturers, teachers, students and graduates;



Every year, at least twice a year, we receive guest teachers, different professors, musicians, artists and writers from abroad.

We work with the students of all age groups, from pupils to adults. We are cooperating with schools, universities and other educational and cultural institutions. Also we cooperate with Lithuanian state institutions too.

We organize various programs, participate in projects and organize workshops. Together with staff and volunteers we implement various cultural activities: learning different languages via knowing other cultures based on non – formal education methods, cultural presentations in association, schools, universities, seminars and conferences on cultural, social issues. Our target group vary from children to adults, but mostly it is youth.

Our professional staff is well qualified and always open to new ideas and creativeness is always appreciated in our team.
