Beschrijving van de organisatie

Our institution, Koch Valéria High School, Primary School, Kindergarten and College, has existed in its current structure since 2004. Our maintainer is the National Self-Government of the Germans in Hungary. We are an ethnic institution that is open to everyone. We represent a modern policy of nationality that also embodies the idea of ​​Europeanness.
Our namesake is the poetess Valéria Koch, who is an example for our students in many respects. In our person and work, we see our own goals realized: tradition and modernity, openness and attachment are not exclusive, but complementary to each other, they form a whole.
Our institution also has a multiplier function: our colleagues regularly hold further training in the framework of ethnography, German language and literature, and German-language subject education, and several write textbooks for ethnic schools. We operate as a practicing school for the students of the University of Pécs in several subjects.
