Bloom's motto is: 'Learn, Grow, Bloom' At its core, Bloom wants to contribute to the development and growth of young people. Everyone has the potential to learn and develop. The way may differ. At Bloom, we believe in the power of experiential learning. We are looking to recognize and acknowledge skills that are acquired and are relevant for active participation in society, such as finding a job. Bloom broadens learning opportunities by combining formal and non-formal learning methods. In this way we complement formal education and contribute to a more inclusive society. Since 2015, Bloom has been organizing experiential learning in the form of volunteer work. vulnerable young people do voluntary work abroad under supervision and in a group (formerly EVS, now ESC) and learn and develop themselves. In addition, they help others and learn about culture. With the acquired skills, young people in the Netherlands can continue to find their way in society. Together we work on change, by participating, by projecting it and by organizing activities. ESC is a wonderful tool for this.
Bloom organises ESC project for youngsters with fewer opportunities: young people who dropped out of school. are not able to get a job, who have a difficult family situation or who have psychological or behavioral problems.
