In our kindergarten there are over 170 children aged 3 to 6. We have seven groups with two teachers in each group. The total number of employees is 34. 16 employees are teachers with pedagogical education (including 1 corrective gymnastics teacher and 1 catechist). Volunteers who join us will work with older children aged 4-6. In addition to regular care, educational and didactic classes, which always take place from 9 am and are conducted by teachers. We also conduct art, music, theater and gymnastic, rhythmic and dance classes, as well as social activities and English lessons. Volunteers will have a chance to get involved in all activities organized by the kindergarten and they will have a chance to prove themselves in many areas. We are open to ideas presented by volunteers. On our part, we will show great support, among other things, we will introduce volunteers into the life of the facility. We will discuss all the details of the functioning and specifics of work in the kindergarten, i.e. daily schedule, work with children and all safety rules. We are available to volunteers throughout their stay in the kindergarten. We organize integration meetings with parents and local community events such as the "Family Picnic". We cultivate the traditions of Christmas and Easter, prepare children for performances on the occasion of "Grandma's and Grandpa's Day", "Mother's and Father's Day" and many other celebrations, we also organize visits to the theater and cinema for children and sightseeing of our city's monuments. In the kindergarten there are also performances of actors from the local theater, we are visited by law enforcement services, e.g. the police, guards, in order to broaden the children's knowledge about safety. Parents also play an important role in our kindergarten, because they are involved in preparing, helping with or coming to performances. Children can become acquainted with many professions and thus broaden their knowledge on the subject and learn partnership and solidarity. Since 2002, our kindergarten has been running a proprietary ecological program, under which we coordinate activities that integrate the entire ecological community, such as: "World Car-Free Day", "Cleaning the World", "Recycling Festival", "Tree Day", trips to the local Recycling Point etc. We are also involved in pro-social actions, such as "Góra Grosza", collection of caps for a wheelchair and charity campaigns for orphanages, hospices and shelters. All these projects are coordinated around our kindergarten. We are located in the 12th Bieżanów-Prokocim District. Our kindergarten is open from Monday to Friday from 7.00 to 17.00.
