The Scout Group Sociocultural Association "Eryteeia" is a non-profit entity dedicated mainly to education in the values ​​promoted by Scouting for young people and children in their free time and in contact with Nature. For this, we carry out weekly activities for homogeneous age groups, where Scout values ​​and principles are promoted. In these weekly activities, meetings are held in our premises, camping, camping, routes, trails, excursions, visits, etc...
In addition to this main purpose, the Eryteeia association aims to conserve the environment through activities to defend nature, such as plantations, cleaning up natural areas, recycling, locating and eliminating invasive alien species, the manufacture and placement of nest boxes, etc...
We also have as an aim the promotion of a healthy life through proper nutrition and the promotion of sports. For this, in our activities a balanced diet is promoted, especially in the camps, as well as the promotion of sports, organizing championships, races, exercises, etc...
Another of our purposes, and no less important than the previous ones, is the promotion of participation in our society through participation in participation bodies such as Youth Councils, environmental councils or entity forums. We also encourage participation through the promotion of volunteering, where we are very active. We have a large group of volunteers who develop various actions of social support, environmental, cultural, solidarity volunteering, etc...
Our main target group is the children and young people of the Bay of Cádiz, where we mainly carry out our values ​​education activities. For the rest of the purposes and objectives, our target group is much more general, since we work with children from six years old to elderly people in residences. We also work with young people and people without disabilities, but we also do it with all kinds of disabilities. In this sense, we have extensive experience with daily work with young people with Asperge, Down, ADHD and other physical and intellectual disabilities.
The geographical scope of our association is mainly associated with the region of the Bay of Cádiz, with the main headquarters in the city of San Fernando and a delegation in Rota and Chiclana de la Frontera. In the execution of our activities, our main scope is throughout the province of Cádiz, since we move through different towns, carrying out some in other provinces of Andalusia. However, there are also activities that we carry out from time to time in other autonomous communities and even other countries, although these are much more specific.
