The Gizakia Herritar Foundation is a non-governmental organization declared of social interest, apolitical and non-religious, with registered office at 31001 Pamplona, ​​calle Mayor nº75. The tax identification code (CIF) is G31981368. It is registered in the Register of Foundations of Navarra with number 258, in the Register of Associations of the Pamplona City Council with number 446 and under the Social Patronage regime of the Government of Navarra. The governing body is made up of 11 people (six women and five men) who do not receive any remuneration. The mission of the foundation is: fundamentally through volunteering, to work for the prevention of situations of social exclusion in childhood and to improve the living conditions of people in situations of social vulnerability, with the aim of achieving a more socially vulnerable society. inclusive through community work, the social and solidarity economy, the participation of the users themselves, the promotion of human rights and the achievement of social justice for all human beings. Currently more than 400 volunteers of all ages participate continuously. Our main activity began in 2009 with the "Paris 365 Solidarity Dining Room" and we offer 3 meals a day for one euro a day from Monday to Sunday to people who, due to economic, health or social problems, do not have access to adequate food. To provide comprehensive care, the dining room also offers a relational and training space, the Txoko Paris 365 with the aim that people who come to the dining room create social bonds. We also have the Paris 365 solidarity pantry for families with dependent children, who have difficulties in meeting their basic food needs and who can have their own kitchen. We seek to provide nutritional minimums through a balanced basket. It serves 70 different families a month who come once a week to collect fresh and non-perishable food. This resource also includes training courses on healthy eating and learning to cook with local products. Access to food resources is made through the reception, information, guidance and accompaniment service (SAIOA). In some way, it is the "node" of relations from which the main internal connections of the users with the entity are made. and external with the resources, both private and public, offered by the community. It is where the first reception is made to the people who come to the service doing an active listening, information is gathered about the need and seeks to initiate a relationship of trust that allows establishing the first links so that the users consider our resource as a "Safe and helpful space" favoring their openness to new relationships. This service works in coordination with other entities, both public and private, that make referrals of people to our resource, and informs, guides and accompanies users to other resources, internal and external, which may be more suitable and / or complementary. for the improvement of their well-being and / or for the exercise of their rights as members of the community
