Don´t be a victim! focuses on preventive education trainings for young people, adults, teachers, parents and also seniors in the issue of unsafe use of the Internet and communication technologies. Warns against misuse of personal data and the introduction of new phenomena in cyberspace, such as sexting, cyber grooming, phishing, Happy Slapping. Dont be a victim! helps especially children and teenagers to use modern communication technologies safely by informing them, their parents, teachers and other adults about the risks of the internet in the best possible way. It offers and provides opportunities to support these people through training, transfer of innovation and lifelong learning education. We are dedicated to shooting movies, comics and creating educational programs, lectures and implementing effective projects.The core of our activities is offering trainings on the topic of safe internet usage to students of elementary and secondary schools, their parents, teachers, as well as trainings to seniors. We are at the cutting edge of developing creative learning/ training work programmes that have a real contribution to people’s lives as well as to the wider community. We have adapted our programs to all possible target groups, children, students, teachers, parents, and seniors.

Don´t be avictim! is an experienced European project developer and promoter, having managed a significant number of EU projects over the years. Our work shows commitment to our plans and ideas, needs of our community, whilst providing a high quality service that meets local, national and European priorities in full compliance of programme and financial regulations. We work with the local community on improving their educational levels awareness in the topic of cyberbullying and irresponsible behaviour in the cyber space. We hope by educating our local communities that we will address levels of deprivation that they face and ensure that they can lead their online life safely. As an example of results we have been supported by the city of Ostrava funds, O2 Funds, or Ministry of education.

Our team is based is based in Ostrava in Moravian-Silesian region on south of Czech republic, close to borders of Poland and Slovakia. Ostrava is famous for its industrial history, but nowaday becomes an increasingly modern city developing in its own way with unique architecture and variety of possibiities for sport, social, or cultural facilites. Due to its position, it is very easy to reach many destinations by direct train lines, for instance Prague, Krakow, Bratislava, or even Vien. International trainings organised by Don´t be a victim! usually take place in beautiful Beskydy mountains, approximately 30 minutes drive. The moutain cottage Švarná Hanka is located in a beautiful healing environment of Moravian-Silesian Beskids, in a protected landscape area along the tourist route of the most beautiful ridge in the Beskydy Mountains between Gruň and Bílý Kříž.
