Casa do Povo de Câmara de Lobos (CPCL) develops an extensive social and cultural work in favor of local populations. Our organization's mission is to provide, cooperate and develop projects of notable interest to the community, whether in collaboration with other public and private entities or by the organization itself. We work with children, young people and adults.

Our objectives:
- To encourage the civic participation of the citizens;
- To stimulate the development and reinforcement of individual cognitive competences;
- To contribute to the formative and educational offer in the parish;
- To spread the traditions of the community and the "consumption" of cultural habits;
- To promote good practices, in various areas (individual, social, environmental);
- To provide new knowledge and raise the socio-cultural level of the population.

We develop several educational, socio-cultural, sports, recreational and leisure, cultural initiatives, among other activities. We highlight the following project/activities: Senior University Project; Erasmus+ mobility projects; courses of pastry & embroideries; teaching of music, theater, dance, amateur teams in sports such as athletics and indoor soccer.
