A szervezet leírása

Kaunas House of Generations- social innovation in Lithuania. It is residential unit initiated by Lithuanian Caritas and established in 1996 by Kaunas municipality. The purpose of the House of Generation is to provide inter-generational care which is aimed to increase communication and exchange between gererations: residents- older people and young mothers with their children.The care aims to meet the needs of children, their mothers and older people and to promote communication and collaboration of three generations. Kaunas House of Generation developed separate frameworks of care for each group, and as well one general progra, aimed to unite the generations, to create atmosphere of communal, family life.
