Centre of leisure time Luzanky is based in South Moravia region in Czech Republic in second biggest city of the country Brno. Our goal is to offer free time activities for people of all the age and social groups. Luzanky it’s the oldest (more than 70 years of existence) and also the biggest leisure time centre in the Czech Republic. Luzanky is formed by 10 centres situated in different parts of the city, mainly suburbs. We offer about 600 courses and hobby groups for more than 11 000 participants of all ages every year.
During the school year we organize about 300 different events, clubs of different topics and interests so as number of educational programmes for schools. Every summer we organize around 250 summer camps and various courses for children, youth and adults. Our clients can choose from wide range of activities – arts, crafts, sciences, sports, polytechnical, outdoor activities, music and theater festivals, exhibitions, competitions etc.
Luzanky host foreign volunteers from 2006 for long-term projects, usually for 12 months, starting in September (according to school year).
