MODAVI Federazione Provinciale di Napoli ONLUS is the Neapolitan section of MODAVI ONLUS (Italian association of volunteering). Is a social promoter directly working on discomfort and degrade situations by the diffusion of volunteers and human dignity culture.
MODAVI Federazione Provinciale di Napoli ONLUS is inserted in a multi cultural context. Like any big city Naples offers both positive and negative aspects which are now its peculiarities. There are certainly big problems of urban deprivation and social exclusion exacerbated by the presence organized crime and the lack of public services. Paradoxically there are positive elements also very strong. Active citizenship, volunteering, social activities are always organized by young people and students.
The aims of MODAVI Federazione provinciale di Napoli ONLUS are:
- Promoting active citizenships, especially between young people;
- Facilitate the participation of all young people in mobility schemes;
- Support and educate young people from disadvantaged groups in order to garantee a social inclusion;
- Encourage international youth exchanges and promote the European and international mobility;
MODAVI Federazione provinciale di Napoli ONLUS has focused also on activities for immigrants, integration of cultures and breaking barriers related to interculturalism.
It partecipated in EVS projects, such as
-Napoli L'Europa dei Govani (IT - 21 - 152 - 2011)
-"Naples Youth's Europe" (IT - 21 - 201 - 2011)
-"Re.Re.Re" (Recycle. Recite. Respect) (IT - 21 - 237 - 2011)
