Opis organizacije

The work of La Mission Locale de l’Agglomération de Lens-Liévin is about the social and occupational integration of young people, we have also developed an international department. This project is all part of our willingness to develop the international mobility as a vector of integration and to propose ambassadors of the territory, of mobility and of the Louvre-Lens. Our goal is to help young people benefit from a worthwhile experience abroad, taking into account everyone’s experience and skills, with a logic of promotion. It is about encouraging them to take part in international actions of training and mobility. We consider mobility as a way of integration and coeducation which allows developing social, professional and intercultural skills. We want to create a rupture with the young’s daily environment, to help them become autonomous, to be responsible but especially to identify, reinforce and make the best use of the acquired skills.
With this project, we want young people to access the information about current mobility devices and to help them carrying out their mobility project in order to be more open-minded, autonomous, able to work in a team, to discover new cultures and to develop language, personal and professional skills.
La Mission Locale is an information space of accompaniment towards social and professional integration.
La Mission Locale de l’Agglomération de Lens-Liévin wants to become a sending/coordinating/hosting organization for young European people. Indeed, the structure wants to offer the young people registered at La Mission Locale the opportunity to live an experience in a foreign country and to discover a new culture.
In order to inform, heighten awareness and accompany young people with their procedures, we would like to welcome volunteers who will testify about their experiences to the employees of the structure and to the hosted young people. By being here, the volunteers will contribute to develop a better understanding of the European diversity within the structure and young people.
To date, La Mission Locale de l’Agglomération Lens-Liévin through the international department, informs young people and make them aware of the different devices of European and international mobility.
