A szervezet leírása

The Cologne Volunteer Center (Kölner Freiwilligen Agentur) is a not-for-profit organisation to foster civic engagement. Founded in1997 we are committed to the development and strengthening of civil society. We inform and advise people who want to engage themselves with their time and knowledge. ln addition, we ask non-profit associations what kind of help is needed and can be contributed by volunteers. Our ambition is a placement that fits to the individual volunteer so she or he has a fulfilled life, and on the other hand the non-profit organizations receive the support that is needed. We bring together supply and demand and we help to develop a diverse and effective citizen involvement in Cologne - for a new spirit in the social and cultural life of the city.

Die Kölner Freiwilligen Agentur ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation zur Förderung des bürgerschaftlichen Engagements. Wir wurden 1997 gegründet und setzen uns für die Entwicklung und Stärkung der Zivilgesellschaft ein. Wir informieren und beraten Menschen, die sich mit ihrer Zeit und ihrem Wissen engagieren möchten. Darüber hinaus fragen wir gemeinnützige Organisationen, welche Art von Hilfe benötigt wird und von Freiwilligen geleistet werden kann. Das Ziel ist eine passgenaue Vermittlung, durch die Engagierte ein erfülltes Leben und Einrichtungen eine nützliche Unterstützung bekommen. Wir bringen Angebot und Nachfrage zusammen und tragen dazu bei, ein vielfältiges und effektives Bürgerengagement in Köln zu entwickeln - für einen neuen Geist im sozialen und kulturellen Leben der Stadt.
